Star Wars Fans' Choice Poll 2015

The results are in! The Fan's Choice Poll started on the evening of June 22nd, 2015 and ended on the evening of June 29th, 2015. We asked our community to post suggestions in our comments box and up-vote the character which they would like to see made the most in Hasbro's 6-inch Star Wars action figure line. We've had a little over 500 contributions in our Facebook comments section with well over 1000 likes on all the suggestions made.

Before we share our final TOP 6 with you, we'd like to go through some things we've learned from our poll which you might find interesting. The Legends Expanded Universe is still very popular. We've received more suggestions for Legends Expanded Universe characters than for any characters from the prequel movies. The three most voted for characters from the prequels were Count Dooku, Jango Fett and Qui-Gon Jinn. The most voted for female characters were Asajj Ventress, Mara Jade and Jaina Solo. Hardly anybody asked for specific Clone Troopers, even Captain Rex from The Clone Wars didn't get many votes. Jaxxon the rabbit and the Tonnika Sisters were not in demand, neither was Star Wars Rebels or Jar Jar Binks.

The most voted for original trilogy characters, besides Obi-Wan Kenobi and C-3PO, were farmboy Luke Skywalker, Lando Calrissian, Emperor's Royal Guards, Admiral Ackbar, Governor Tarkin, Snowtroopers and AT-AT Drivers. The most wanted Han Solo figure was Han Solo in his Bespin outfit.

Here are our results:

  1. General Grievous (Episode III)
  2. C-3PO (Episode IV)
  3. Darth Revan (Reborn) (Videogame character)
  4. Starkiller (Videogame character)
  5. Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode IV)
  6. Darth Revan (NOT reborn) (Videogame character)

So, what happens next? Hasbro will collect all the lists handed to them from all participating outlets. All polling result lists will be combined and weighed equally, with the #1 character on each list worth 6 points, the #2 character worth 5 points, the #3 worth 4 points, etc... The resultant point values will be used to generate the final ballot of 6 choices, which will be launched at 9 am PST on July 2 on The winning character will be announced at Hasbro’s STAR WARS panel, July 10 at Comic-Con International in San Diego.

Thank you Hasbro, HunterPR and everybody who participated!
